Last bottle from magnum. This is still fresh and probably only getting better from here. Has the “lightness” and lower heat I’ve come to like from st aubin

Hubert Lamy tasting (Utregs Wijnhuis, Utrecht, NL): Complete and classical, ripe but stony, really crisp and energetic for age and vineyard, zesty citrus, flowers, palpable minerality, almost Chablis-like, excellent drive on the precise and long finish. Shapely.

Hubert Lamy tasting (Utregs Wijnhuis, Utrecht, NL): Richer and more developed than the ‘18 tasted next to this. Riper fruit but combined with great minerality. Medium+ acidity. The palate is where the real difference with the ‘18 is; this is more generous, richer and more beautiful. Medium+ finish

Showing beautifully. Nose is redolent of white flowers, lemon oil, and a faint whiff of oak. The palate is ripe, racy, and long with stone fruit and citrus zest flavors lifting the earthier notes. This is lovely stuff and reminds one why we drink white Burgundy. Just entering the sweet spot. Absolutely cracking with poached halibut and an herb mayo with sautéed corn and green beans. Re-buy? In a second. Yum!
