Overview tasting of Hubert Lamy. Maybe my expectations were too high, but they were not met. Good wines, but seldom great or stunning

Medium+ intensity; floral (almost like a Condrieu light 🤷♂️), lemon, grapefruit, chalky. Medium+ acidity with a medium (somewhat disappointing) finish. Got better with more air. 89-91
From his 2,4ha of the 12,6ha Frionnes vineyard with vines from 1935, 1960 and 1985

Richer and more developed than the ‘18 tasted next to this. Riper fruit but combined with great minerality. Medium+ acidity. The palate is where the real difference with the ‘18 is; this is more generous, richer and more beautiful. Medium+ finish

Needed to open up a bit and even then felt young. Nice reduction, smokey, lemon, minerality, wet stone maggi. Not so much fruit driven, but very good nonetheless. Medium+ acidity, lean and elegant on the palate with a medium finish.
Planted in 1964, from the monopole Clos (1,25ha) within the larger Chateniere vineyard (8,45ha)

Lovely, although probably a tad more advanced than I would expect given its age. Ripe, lactic, pear, nutty (hazelnut), marzipan, chalk, linoleum, ginger bread, butter. Medium+ acidity, medium+ finish.
