Mid golden in colour, excellent acidity, slight biscuit nose, intense flavours of citrus primarily lemon. Very refreshing wine that grabs your attention and makes you sit back and savour it on your palate. Great to the last drop ...makes you want to pop another cork. A great St. Aubin

Hubert Lamy tasting (Utregs Wijnhuis, Utrecht, NL): Slightly meaty reduction, similar style to the 2015 but a bit rounder and more friendly right now on its creamy baby fat, elegant and fine boned, crisp and tight, good layering and persistence on the finish but perhaps not a precise and harmonious as the 2015.

Hubert Lamy tasting (Utregs Wijnhuis, Utrecht, NL): Medium+ intensity; floral (almost like a Condrieu light 🤷♂️), lemon, grapefruit, chalky. Medium+ acidity with a medium (somewhat disappointing) finish. Got better with more air. 89-91
From his 2,4ha of the 12,6ha Frionnes vineyard with vines from 1935, 1960 and 1985

Nose was muted. There's very good salinity and lemon and lime with a strong rind note at the finish. There's a hint of honey which let me to believe that it was a very slightly off dry wine. Wrong wrong.

Blind. I thought this might be a Chenin Blanc.
