  • Non-blind. From glass-btl at Riedel Bar in Sogo, Yokohama.
Impression: drinkable, barely, but of good quality...
Röd m perfekt orange mognad. Bådar mckt gott!
Nose: Old World, övermogen, övermogna bär, åkerbär, porty, stor.
Palate: För höga syror, bränd/porty tail at the end.
Entry: acidic. Mid palate: usui. End: good tannin. OVER MATURED or damaged.
Espescially drinking this after a young wine, this stands out as a distorted monstrosity... Quality is great but this is towards nasty...

  • This was an OK bottle of wine. You can find better out there for the price point. It started off very tanic and tight. The aroma was black berry. There was some heat in this bottle, but relaxed a little after hours of decanting. The more it decanted the more the oak really stood out. The vanilla noise and taste really started to come out after about 4 hours of decanting (the heat also lessened). over all not a bad bottle, but there are much better for this price point
