Tasted blind. This was my WOTN. Utterly delicious. Similar to my tasting note from January 1st 2024. Deep gold color, round lemon fruit, just the right amount of oak, incredible minerality, a big wine but with high acidity. In a word... YUM!

2024 New Year's Day Double Blind Tasting: 2nd starter wine before the official line-up.This is hitting on all cylinders. I have had a ton of good fortune lately to be drinking some phenomenal white Burgundies. A wine like this one makes me want to go buy more!

One of those bottles that restores the faith; When you hit a solid GC white burg which does not contain the pox it is easy to get lost in the glass. This was just such a bottle and one that had nice layering of ripe fruit yet never lacked in precision and focus. Best within about 45 min when more mineral was evident on the finish. This one could have aged more but absolutely no regrets drinking it tonight. When they are on they are on. (Unfortunately Pernot prices have reached obscene levels).

A pale golden colour, round and mouthful palate, 油润感 as Lily commented, 焦糖苹果 as other commented. A lovely wine!
