In a glorious peak window with such a classic Gevrey profile of meaty black cherry with spice. Made even more interesting with 25+ year old old school Burgundy maturity of mushroom and earth. Plenty of vibrancy to the fruit and remaining fine tannin. Should hold at this level for a decade+. Terrific old vine Village burg.

PNP. cork perfect. color shows age. this is totally mature. when we started it seemed a little vegetal, but after a few minutes this resolved to an earthiness that was totally polished. delicious with beef bourgogne. time to drink

medium garnet w bricking. roasted herbs and cherries; earthy, microbiotic notes, well integrated baking spices. on the palate- brawny ( a little rustic), with acidic zip and integrated tannins. Wow. First bottle from the Lost Cellar.

PNP. Cork intact wet partway up. Nose is fantastic w rhubarb cherry cola and iodine and sous bois. Swishing shows density w very firm tannin that dries the finish and some acid. Sipping is all smooth and polish, but the tannins peek out on the finish.
