My first of 3 bottles. Terry Theise named the two star Auslese his wine of the vintage for 2005. Deep yellow color. Very lush with sweet white fruit. Notes of peaches, mango and pears. Seemed older than 10 years old. Opened right after the 2005 Prum Wehlener Sonnenuhr Spatlese which was livelier. 92 points.

What a lovely wine...on the nose there was a beautiful white lily, petrol, lemon head (the candy) scent. In the mouth it was intense and precise as flavors of key-lime pie, slate, and flint accented notes. With a long 30+ second finish this wine is exactly what I look for in a German Riesling. This wine is on a path to something magnificant!

The last wine of long line-up. Grass and petrol nose with light hints of grapefruit and pear. All of I have written down for the flavor profile is ripe grapefruit. There was almost certainly more there.

Wonderful wine! A perfect light desert wine, with an unusual lemon-honey color. Soft nose and a surprising development of flavors, mainly quince, apricot and fried banana mixed in with a little bit of lime. Really long finish. Pleasingly sweet on the palate. Highly recommend it for a casual though sophisticated mood. My wife wrote this, she loved the wine.
