  • Still holding up, brownish in color, with some candy shop on opening in medium weighted body. A touch sweeter than what I would like, not really my cuppa tea.

  • Drinking nicely, certainly not falling apart. It wears the 15% alc pretty well.

  • I unscrewed the cap and had a quick taste that excited me but immediately the following tastes fell off dramatically. The color was a deep dark reddish plum. There was a good bit of sediment that showed up about 1/3 the way through the bottle. I filtered the last glass and the sediment was extremely fine and a grey black color. The flavors are predominated by the Grenache which had a lot of bite. That first taste gave me hints of its past quality but it just was not there anymore. There was some front end acidity that may have been some slight effervescence and the Grenache bite became distractingly strong as the bottle stayed open. There was still a lot of fruit in the wine but it just did not make up for the other less interesting character. This bottle was well beyond its peak. The wine did ok with the BBQ ribs but on its own was not as good

  • Really interesting white pepper notes, eucalyptus and sour cherry. This has held up well, with no signs of aging. Very vibrant and balanced. A good match for pepper steak.

  • Lovely, powerful yet balanced and elegant, complex with an excellent finish - Dark, well concentrated with notes of intense plum, blueberry, cherry, spice, pepper and vanilla on the nose, well structured, harmonious, silky smooth on the finish with great length, well done! (93 Points).
