Tasted July 14, 2006 Opened and served immediately in a really crappy hotel glass. Later tasted in a Riedel Vinum Bordeaux glass with only some improvement in the nose showing. Garnet color in the glass, slightly dusty throughout. Nose of black berries, black cherries and smoke. Flavors of slightly tart red cherries, kirsch and red berries. Firm to drying tannins. Medium acidity. Light to Medium body. Based on the Stirling retail price of $19.99 I'd say the value here is acceptable.
