Good not great as it showed just a little flabby from this hot year. Had the '16 last month and was much more vibrant and delish. Musso & Franks Eric B-day.

Beautiful floral/white fruit nose, some reduction, silky smooth entry, excellent intensity, long finish. Great all around, and perfect with the ham and Dauphinois potatoes. M&D, K&N, L

Nose: sesame, vanilla, white flowers Notes: it has been PYCM's style to make whites with high minerality and probably a higher acidity. The Les Baudine however was relatively full bodied comparing to his other wines and showed seductive nose of sesame, vanilla and white flowers. This is a very well balanced wine and the minerality was not too overwhelming so I quite liked this wine. This wine can be appreciated now and can be consumed over the next 10 years. PNP. Flint, anise, spearmint and citrus fruits. Medium weight clenched fruit, lots of acid, bitter lemon rind and dry extract. Very impressive structure for a 15, belying the vintage reputation.

light to mid yellow, the aromas present initially oat meal, spice and dry toasty oak with a slight hint of reduction but within acceptability but slowly opens to reveal lemon rind, lemon cream biscuits to become more attractive. A strident acidity on entry, piled high with lemon, lemon tart, pastry alongside oatmeal infused with honey and nuts - nougat-like but not sweet. A linear profile, there is a purity and wonderful fruit intensity, typical of PVCM with its classic poise that makes for a cracking wine. Piquant as the wine finish with a mineral, chalk and apple edge, the wine finishes long. Classy with a excellent depth of fruit yet maintaining a delicate lemon blossom note. As the wine opened river the half hour, there was. A little more almond paste suggesting some evolution that with further time masked a little bit of the wine virtues.
