Classic Clone 8 Cab taste- big fruit, dark cherry, cassis. Tannins are well integrated into the smooth, long finish at 15+ years this is incredible wine. No defects, VA or distractions to the remarkable finish. Double decanted, best glass at 3 hours. I cellared this upon purchase, would go another 5 years why wait.

Brick coloured and fully mature. Decanted one hour. Sweet dark cherries in the bouquet, a bit volatile. Still lively soft tannins.Bold, dark berries, a bit one dimensional. Long finish with some sweetness. Still nice to drink, but was more interesting some years ago (90-91 p).

Napa Valley Vintner's Big Nightlife Napa Valley Magnum Tasting Party (San Francisco, CA): Good example of Mt. Veeder Cab. Ripe, intense and tannic fruit. Deep purple color. Aromas/flavors of blackberry, currant, black cherry, oak and a touch of earth on the nose. Big, but integrated tannins provide a juicy mouthfeel. Long, lingering finish.
