Dark ruby. Nose of dark fruit with eucalyptus, pine tree, nice and typical Napa. On the palate soft and fruity with a balanced tannic grip. Medium finish.

Not much nose to speak of. Hints of black fruits and a little must and earth after pulling the cork an hour before tasting. The flavors pick up spice, currant, and bell pepper. The finish is medium length with mount coating tannins at the end. A nice Mount Veeder Cab for the money.

Tasted in double-blind fashion at Vintage Wines, Ltd. The bottle was kindly provided by Josh Gelb. Bright disc. Opaque ruby robe with red rim. Clean, oak/vanilla-dominated nose, almost drowning the black fruit underneath. Full-bodied on the palate, with low acidity, big ripe tannins and over-the-top oakiness. Medium, vanilla-laden finish.

Rich, juicy, spice, dark berry, tobacco and a hint of mint flavor. Finishes with ample ripe tannins.
