This was not a bad bottle, but it is getting a bit tired, perhaps. Juicy, fresh cut berry nose. Flavors of raspberry, pepper, ash and moderate tannins with acidity that keeps it fresh.

This bottle, while not oxidized, showed on green, primary fruit and I attribute this to it getting extremely hot during accidental ground shipment from Club Cuvaison. They replaced it with an air shipment and I decided to consume this relatively quickly due to its poor provenance. It did become a little more complex over three nights but this bottle, again, maybe cooked, was nothing to write home about. I hope the replacement shows the excellent complexity I have come to expect from Cuvaison.

Well-made Napa Cab, dark ripe fruit, good tannins & acidity, well balanced, would have preferred a little more body mid-palette, but great wine nonetheless.

Dark chocolate, with warm berry undertones.

Solid performer but nothing spectacular. Nose of dark fruit with good tannins on palate. Medium length finish.
