  Supple sweetness on the front followed by rhubarb, strawbery and cherry that have just begun to fade into cinnamon and star anise with a lingering finish that just hints at violets as the alcohol takes over till a nearly pleasant bitterness and delicate acid lingers compelling you to drink more or eat something. Drank over 4 hours, did not decant.
