warm earth and rose petals, Full, very dry, even a touch austere, then long and nutty, walnuts. A little aristocratic and aloof. In a good way. Would love to spend an evening with this in a decanter.

Had at a restaurant with a ribeye topped with shaved white truffles. The nose here is pure Barolo magic. Red berries intermingling with dried tobacco, tar, forest floor, a hint of mint, floral notes, and anise. Could smell it all day. The palate was initially quite tight. This was served at cellar temp, as it warmed the palate opened a bit and while there is still loads of structure the depth of fruit started to absorb the tannins more and it was really quite delicious. This has plenty of time for development but is open enough now to be thoroughly enjoyed.

Toller klassischer traditioneller Barolo.
- Mittlere Farbintensität
- Klare Kirsche, eingebettet in runde Tannin- und Säurestruktur
Jetzt toll zu trinken.

Austere, crisp, needs more time to put on weight.
