  Tasted at Summerhill LCBO
  Clear pale ruby with slightly orange rim without any sediments or suspensions
  Nose of dried red cherries and cranberries in floral undertones of roses
  Medium bodied, high acidity, high level of grippy tannin, medium finish of cranberry and red cherry flavours
  Comparatively simple for a Barolo (90)

  Subtle nose, with dark, tarry, dried berry, and leather notes. Lush, ripe ripe and warming with dry tannins and balanced acidity. Weighty, dried fruit finish.

  Forest notes, herbal, smoky, spicy on the nose. Balanced and fresh on the palate, round tannins, spicy finish. Already well integrated and quite harmonious. Very good. 91-92+
