Red-Brown. Bright. Nice legs. 14%. On the nose: Red fruits. Cherry. Cocoa. Sweet organics... Tar? Floral notes. Palate is very long. Good freshness and acid/structure. Cherry on the palate. Velvet and sweet tannin in the back - cocoa. Lovely. Had with roast beef!!

still has background of dark cherry on nose palette. Complemented with cocoa. No obvious oak. That is in the background. Very smooth and well balanced. Very long. Cocoa on the back palate.
Been a while since I've had this. Still have a few more bottles. Phew.
93-94. Great stuff!

Dark red color. PNP, drank 2 glasses over 90 minutes. This opened nicely over the first hour. Wood spice, cherry, molasses, cherry liqueur, dark cherry nose. The palate has ripe dark cherry, kirsch, oak, deep and full bodied, firm tannins, anise and some ripe cassis emerges later. Good pairing with our pasta and short rib ragu.

Dark cherry on the nose. Surprisingly relaxed tannins for a barolo. Drinking well, although not with good pedigree.

Worldwide Wine Event (Shari's Condo): Wood, red fruits, forest floor and earth. Medium plus finish. Should age a few more years.
