  • Dinner with Monthly Group at Sabai Thai (Sabai Thai, Ngee Ann City): I thought this was a superb village. It had a lovely Meursault nose of gentel toast, brioche and cream scents weaving through a core of yellow fruit. Nice, but it was the palate that really impressed me. It had a really fresh, clean feel to it, with pure flavours of apples and lemons touched with some toast and cream, all very alive and vibrant all the way into a long minerally finish. Not the deepest or richest wine, but this superbly elegant and wonderfully balanced. I was very taken by this wine - it was delicious and very fine indeed, yet another 2005 Meursault that showed fantastic quality.
