  A nearly 10 year old Riesling, from a fine producer...
  On nose: flint, green apple and lime peel.
  On palate: all above flavours amplified, with kumquat, smoke, high minerality and a ghost of both coriander and petrol, on a sleekly acidic, fresh medium body, with fine balance....bone dry, elegant.
  Went well with steel head trout, basmati rice and winter vegetables.....would play well with raw oysters, as well.

  This is a very crisp, extremely dry “Orts-Riesling-Wein” (biodynamic farming), sourced from different Grand Cru vineyards in the village of Forst an der Weinstraße, about five kilometer south of the city of Bad Dürkheim. Brilliant straw-yellow in color and a very pure and aromatic bouquet revealing scents of green apple, lemon peel, white flowers and a slight touch of petrol. The quite complex palate is marked by vibrant yellow fruit and supported by a great acid structure. Serious mineral finish. Drinking window: now–2020.
  
  Een zeer pittige en bijzonder droge “Orts-Riesling-Wein” (biodynamische wijnbouw), afkomstig van verschillende Grand Cru-wijngaarden uit het dorpje Forst an der Weinstraße, ongeveer vijf kilometer ten zuiden van de stad Bad Dürkheim. Helder strogeel van kleur en een zeer zuiver en aromatisch bouquet met aroma’s van groene appel, zeste van citroen, witte bloemen en een lichte petroltoets. Het vrij complexe smaakpatroon wordt gedomineerd door levendig geel fruit en geschraagd door een stevige aciditeitsstructuur. Overtuigende minerale finale. Te drinken: nu – 2020.
