Velvety chocolate, blueberries and plums with hints of sage. Sounds like a train wreck as I read this, but it actually works. An accessible amarone that also pops and pours without a decanter. A fun bottle.

Minty menthol thing notes Jamie that is going on. Rich and big on the palate. A lovely balanced palate with the green / over ripe fruit notes. Delightfully tasty.

Ok. So villa is two things. First, its long the oldest vineyard in every way. The oldes vineyard period, probably planted between the two world wars and also, the oldes production for them. The other thing is ther are two amarone. Castle, the other one, is not always made. When castle is not made it's blended need into villa. Finally, villa sits almost directly in he middle of nagar and the punts means the point.
Smokey and dark and almost like Syrah, that's a big year for them. Meaning this is a big year for em, and this sucker is big in every way. More coffee here note sand the castle more red fruits but they are of the same family. They are very close to my nose. Maybe they separate directions in time.
