Bought one for 17 two weeks ago. Screwcap. Decanted with normal sediment for its age. Medium purple. Tart red fruits that follow on the palate, tartness prominent, lean mouthfeel. Enjoyable, perhaps past prime--not a re-buy. Quality, age, price: Notable-.

Great berry tastes. Nose is very alcoholy at first but after decanting for a few hours , the alcohol subsided and the berries came through. A little jammy, the berries taste is delicious. Pairs fantastic with old cheddar and red sauce Italian.

Nose: Melange of black fruits: blueberry, black currant, blackberry jam, met equally by fruitcake spices, vanilla extract, cedar, and herbs. Jumps out of the glass.
Mouth: Smooth blueberry, black cherry and cassis fall into relief against a strong dose of spice further accenting the fruit. Very fine, easy tannins bring in a finish of sweet cinnamon and oak. Surprising amount of structure based on the suggestion of richness in the nose.
Overall: Plush and smooth and yet still taught out of the bottle. Aromatic and spicy core to the richness keeps things interesting. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon.
90.
