Maybe on the downside, but paired beautifully with barbecued chicken on the grill with a smoky, sweet BBQ sauce. 1 hour decant. 60 F. Deep garnet color. Nose of creme de cassis, root beer and cedar. Medium-bodied, well-integrated alcohol, fading acidity. Smooth food-friendly wine with cherry cola, cranberry and a hint of spicy oak on the palate. Long finish. A very nice example of a wine that relishes being a new world pinot.

Pretty much ready on opening but 30 mins of air does allow it to open up. Mrs. Ozziewine like it out of the New World Pinot Glass while I went for the traditional Pinot Bowl (your mileage may vary). Dark fruit, brooding, a liquer-like essence, velvety almost syrupy, muddled fruit. Second time we had it (stored on nitrogen) gave it 1-2 hrs air and it was super smooth. Age has mellowed this for sure. Feels like it's time to drink these up. Sorry to see these folks close up shop.

Delicious notes of red fruit, baking spices, herbs. Delicious on its own and with the roasted, herbal rack of lamb.

Red and dark fruits, red cherry, berry, baking spices, rhubarb, violets, mushrooms and some herbs.
I loved this wine with pizza and with roast lamb with herbs.
Great qpr for $20 / bottle. These are almost all gone now.
