  Iron, wet stone, inky, tart dark cherry, still tannin on long finish.

  Nose of bright purple fruit, perfumed flowers, and some dusty notes. Plush palate of deep, dark fruit with a powerful forward drive bringing iron, dried herbs, thistle, and wet rocks across the tongue. Wild finish with layers of boysenberry, damson plum, tart unripe cherry, wet soil, and slate. What a sophisticated wine that's drinking well but will certainly last quite a bit longer - it's hard to describe the nuances.
