  • PnP. Dark cherry, spice, forest floor, earth. The fruit is a little bit fleshy, but given 2015 is a hotter year that makes sense, but the fruit isn't overripe. Medium body, medium acid. There are still some noticeable tannins in the finish. This is a mix of estate fruit and some neighboring vineyards all in the Ribbon Ridge AVA. This is 7 years old and I think this can easily go another 3-5 years. I think most people underestimate the longevity of Oregon PN (look at the drink dates for this wine), and this wine is a great example of this. This is my last bottle and I guessed it would be a little on the young side, but really wanted to taste it. If I had more, I'd wait another 2-3 years before trying it again. This really seems to be a cuvee that needs about 10 years to show itself.
