White pepper, cumquats, lemons, and creamy toasted hazelnuts on the fragrant nose. Crackling dry fruit on the palate with great focus and gripping mid-palate weight, sweet electric acids at the back moving into a very long lifting finish. Moving, lively, and elegant, continues to provoke thought and emotion with each sip.

Golden color. Lovely nose with pear, chalk, white florals, star fruit, and bitters on the nose. On th epaulet, it's razor sharp and clean but not stern or shrill. Mid weighted, with great cut and freshness. More pear, star fruit, some passion fruit, some lemon curd, and marzipan, all with excellent acidity and a mineral- chalky backbone. This has good extract and density but remains fresh and clean. The savagnin really adds a wilder fruit profile that I love. Finishes simultaneously clean yet very long. This was fantastic with roasted chicken thighs, rosemary and fingerling potatoes. Drinking very well now with plenty of time in hand.

Ganevat Bonanza (RR Frederiksberg): Almost feels like a Cider with all the pear flavors coming through. It has an extreme acidity and is also very dry.

Really enjoy this vintage of this wine. Seems to have the same complexity as 2015 and 2016, but is brighter and lighter on its feet. Drink or hold.
