Back in good form. There is earth, red fruit and wild mushroom. It is lively and structured, with only the finish showing some anise and a big profile.

Well, this seems to be one of the more divisive wines on this site Massive (remember when that was a good thing?) blackberry and violet nose and obvious viscosity promises a first class burial at sea, but then annoyingly chipper lifeguard Mike Minerals has to check and see if I'm ok After Every Damn Sip. I'm Ok Mike, LEAVE ME ALONE I never thought I'd find a wine too minerally, but this reminds me of fruit goses, where the salt in the style ruins the juvenile decadence of the fruit. Perhaps the remainder can add some heft to a lightweight red over the next day or 2, but by itself, w/ or w/out food, no thank you

Pop and pour, I didn't know what to expect from this wine, and was pleasantly surprised. The wine is remarkably balanced, with a fair amount of acidity. There is earth, red fruit and wild mushroom. It is lively and structured, with only the finish showing some anise and a big profile.

The 3rd bottle opened, and each bottle is progressively worse. Pop and pour, substantial alcohol, lots of anise.

This was not nearly as interesting as a bottle a few months ago. Acceptable, some minerality.
