Splash decanted. This has come together exceedingly well...all fleshy plums supported by blackberry with earthy notes and touches of saddle leather. juicy acidity is ably supported by grippy tannins. Long. Good.

Acid dominates and while it is not a great example of what Tyrrell's can produce, with the right food it is a decent mid week dinner wine. Savoury, some depth but the acid has taken over. Leather, spice and brambles.

Pleasant hunter drinking, nothing remarkable here just crowd pleasing, quaffing, red juice. Greameg 's 'anonymous' fruit struck a chord. A touch heavier tannin line would have lifted the experience.

{screwcap} A bit less impressive than I remembered last January. Ripe enough, savoury, a bit thin maybe, fine gritty tannins, anonymous red fruit. So-so. Not bad for $20 though.

perfume on the nose, showing red berries, cherries and wet gravel, silky and plush, full, spicy, with hints of pepper, plum sauce, currant and iron, savory with umami qualities, balanced and soft, this stood up with a sausage covered pizza
