  Rich ripe bouquet which shows itself immediately; short 1 hour decant revealed a medium / full body (cherry, prune) and clean lingering finish. Not particularly deep wine but very enjoyable...jammy on ! Drink now....

  Nose of black cherry, black berry, and dusty earth, same on the palate, medium/big body, tasty, touch simple, mouth filling fruit, much better on day 2 than day 1, good acid, good rich fruit, probably better with 9 months cellar time, buy any 6 bottles at Safeway and its < $12, medium/long finish.   Sat, 10/28/17, $2 Tasting (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): 85% Zinfandel, 6% P.S., 5% Barbera, & 4% Syrah; Barrel aged for 21 months in 100% Fr oak, 30% new, 70% neutral 14.5% ABV
  
  N: Closed, but ripe? With air/warmth, red rasps, poss straws?
  
  P: MF, poss M, body; Rndish entry with ALMOST swtish frt met by some counterbalancing very, VERY finely tannic pucker which slowly, fairly seamlessly, pretty much mitigates through the LONG, very, VERY slightly spicy finish with almost a swtness & VERY slight tang. Delicious now, & may improve a bit for 6-9 mos, then drink NICELY into '20. A fairly elegant style with LOTS of flavor! 93 pts Anthony Dias Blue, 90 pts WE, & 89 pts RJonWine [This vendor's $13.95 is at LEAST a $ < than anyone else on wine-searcher.]
