  A well structured, fragrant RdD made from 80+ vines, a blend of 95% Tempranillo, 3% Merlot and 2% Albillo, aged in new FR oak barrels for 26 months. Deep garnet colour. Intense rich and fragrant aroma of stewed plums, liquorice, toasted red oak, vanilla, tobacco, kirsch, incense. Medium+ body, tense and slightly astringent structure, smoky and toasted notes of kirsch and red fruits, mocha and spice hints, saline touches. Concludes with well integrated high acidity and grippy well structured high tannins.

  Granate de buena capa. Perfil clásico, terciarios desarrollados, frutilla roja, sobre todo con matices licorosos, especiados, finos tostados, confitura de tomate. En boca tiene buen ataque, cuerpo medio, tanino pulido, bastante frescura, matices tostados, estructura media y bastante persistencia. Excelente presencia.

  Great label - really classic
  Quite oaky nose, juicy fruit and firm tannin followed by oaky/ tobacco notes with some herbs.
  Quite rioja-like in a good way, maturing really nicely
  Around £25
  95% Tempranillo the rest Merlot and Albillo

  Oh I like this stuff. This is probably my fourth vintage of this wine. And it is a consistent product. Pure Ribeira Reserva. It does have the local fruit plus oak personality of the place. This is still young and a good aeration is necessary. Mouth full and long. Perfect with a good Ojo de Bife. It is not the most opulent vintage but still great Ribeira. Keep for the next 10 yrs
