Dinner with the Osborn's (Home): Tropical fruit nose with a nice floral component. Tastes of melon, lemon, pear and apple. Excellent balance. Long, elegant finish. Quite impressive. I'm really falling in love with wines from this area. Amazing QPR at $14.99. My first bottle from a six pack. 13% alcohol.

Boy, am I sorry to see this one go. It has been a bargain Vouvray since its release and continues to be so. I am still impressed by its off dry pear fruit, good viscosity, and strong minerality. Tonight it also showed a pleasing almond like bitterness on the finish.

Pretty wine. Lemon and ocean on the nose, tropical fruit and peaches with nice acidity. Great with some spicy Mexican food.

Plastic cork... nice and crisp, dry with just perhaps a tiny bit of residual sugar hiding somewhere. Drinking well, a bit of lanolin and honeysuckle.
