A very fine wine, especially for the price. I originally tasted this blind against a $60 La Jota Howell Mountain (which was about 96 pts WS), and I liked this Mauritson better, even though I had tasted and loved the same La Jota before. I wish I had bought more of this stuff.

Could hold another decade. Inky color with blackberry and black pepper flavors.

This Sonoma Cab was better than expected. Well balanced with dark fruit, vanilla and some old world notes and a long smooth finish. Great QPR.
