Made from plots in La Violette and Maizieres-Basses. Nose a bit closed but on the palate there’s wonderful violet and red fruits. Not as dark as the Arnoux-Lachaux Vosne, more elegant and transparent in style. Wish I had kept this for longer. Similar in style to Jouan apparently?

Beautiful ripe and concentrated fruits on this village wine, well integrated oak. Some spice to it as well, perhaps lacking a bit of acidity to balance the ripeness. Drinking well now

A fruit forward and dense village wine with asian spices, violets and oak. Perhaps it tasted a bit more gevrey/chambolle at this stage. Very enjoyable for its level. 90-91

2015 Vosne-Romanée Village Blind Tasting (Chicago, IL): Single blind. Lighter appearance. Aromas lead with a big Vosne spice and follow with lighter, ethereal red cherry, strawberry and rhubarb pie. The spice here is intense but not obvious. Generous and forward yet elegantly styled. Palate is similarly red fruited and sneaky spice. Fresh throughout. This will age on it's acids. Excellent, with upside.

Another beautiful bottle that showed juicy and bright red fruit and spice lifted by moderate acidity. Drinking well.
