Consistent with previous note but a touch better with the additional bottle age….
Previously: Agree with the other notes. Open/decant at least 2-3 hours before. It needs it. Ripe tannins, tons of black/blue fruit. Love the big dose of Petit Verdot and it comes out on the nose. Still a few years away from peak....

Decanted 90 minutes. Dark black color. First sip was still tight. Surprising. Wine opened up over the next90 minutes. It changed dramatically and the last 30 minutes was just smooth, lush and wonderful. Silky smooth tannins and great flavor layers. Cab dominant. One of the best Paso Cab based wines I’ve ever had. Much more structure than most Paso Cabs. Way better and more structure than Justin Isoceles.

Guess my palate has changed. Bleh. Over oaked, late picked fruit, syrupy- no deft or balance. Shame. This COULD be a great wine, but style and appeal seems to have prevailed over balance and soul.

Decanted for 4 hours. Had after champagne & a 10 year old Lytton Springs. Good fruit, medium heavy body. Great with sous vide Strip steak
