I'm usually not right in my predictions of how a red Burg will turn out, but I think my last note gets this right. No formal notes, but I'm guessing this wine won't be much better than it is right now. My take: it sort of has the sheen of a top class Burgundy, but is lacking the depth to meaningfully improve. That's not meant as a knock- I'm happy for the price I paid. It's delicious and hits the right notes- minerality, black fruit, etc. This is just a wine I've found I enjoy on the young side because age typically hasn't brought the benefits I see in other (usually more expensive) Burgundies.

Medium to dark ruby, subtle but complex nose of dried fruits like strawberry and black cherry, sage, earth, meat and more, bright fruit on the attack with layers of slightly stewed red and dark fruit, medium tannins and juicy acidity, finishes strong with brambly fruit, earth, herbs, umami and much more

brief note - restaurant purchase. PNP. color dark. fruit is ripe and rich. despite the alcohol that peeks out a little this is pretty well balanced. the fruit really buries the structure. i think that this will hang in there for quite awhile.

Deilig vin! Flott nese med kalde bær og blomster. Veldig fin frukt. Faste tanniner. Vil ha godt av litt lagring (3-5 år). Mellom lang ettersmak.
