Nose of bright berries, underbrush, purple flowers. Salty sweet fruit on the palate, a hint of spritz, with a savory acid finish, Simple and delicious with some depth and no pretensions. Excellent with baked shrimp with fennel and feta.

Blind tasting. Brief note. Nose and palate show quite aromatic notes of baking spice, savory herbs, lavendar, underbrush, a rush of tart red fruit and a grapey/carbonic note followed by crushed granite. The midpalate on this was much more filled out than the Sandlands with solid red fruits and good weight that make this a more serious wine that also had more structure. Long finish with mouth puckering acidity. Delicious

double decanted a couple of hours in advance. Cloudy ruby color. Nose strawberries. Palate tart tomato, good depth, overall very nice with food. J's WOTD.

Much better bottle this time. Crunchy red fruit, rosemary and salt, moreish. Not good value, but a good mid-week drink.

Very angular, cranberry fruit. I like AFWE wines in general and Trousseau specifically, but this is OTT.
