A very Alsatian nose! Fruit salad, stone fruits, apricot, cloves & nutmeg and other brown spices, blossom & white flowers, wet stone and minerality. Aromatic. Good mouthfeel with wet stone & glycerine on the finish. Dry.

Aromatic with white flowers, hazelnuts, nutmeg, and baked fruits. Rich and round. This wine is all about texture. Lots of it. Flavors of pear, baked lemon, lychee, peach, and white flowers.

This is a unique wine, and while certainly Alsatian in character, really has no peer, at least to my knowledge. My impressions are derived while tasting the wine at a cool temperature, not right out of the refrigerator.
The nose is concentrated, notes of brown spices, nutmeg in particular, as in a baked creme brûlée. White flowers? Fruit cocktail? The palate is unctuous with glycerined weight, but not sweetness. Old vines concentration and length. Again, this wine is unique. Great fruit, but not like anything else I can name tonight.

Pure clean dry fruit.
Lovely for the varietal if not necessarily memorable
