Pretty shy at the beginning, opens up after an hour with soft honey notes, apple, lemon curd, white flowers, white peach, toast and a light toach of butter. Very good intensity.

Some Wine Tasted at the Acker La Paulée Auction (Maybourne Hotel - Beverly Hills CA): Tasted at auction. Rich lemon and lemon curd that brings lots of energy to a clearly ripe wine. Very good length and balance. From 3L.

Hubert Lamy tasting (Utregs Wijnhuis, Utrecht, NL): Richer in style than Les Frionnes 2015, clearly from a warmer vineyard, delicately honeyed, beautifully developed, hint of brioche, showing well, floral, hint of butter, classical profile, rounded but crisp, very good length. Complete but not as precise as the 2016.

Hubert Lamy tasting (Utregs Wijnhuis, Utrecht, NL): Medium+ intensity on the nose with lemon, white blossom, citronella, jasmin, light caramel, hint of oak, candy. Medium+ acidity, medium+ finish. 91-92
Riper and more accessible at the moment than the 2016
