Pretty shy at the beginning, opens up after an hour with soft honey notes, apple, lemon curd, white flowers, white peach, toast and a light toach of butter. Very good intensity.

Hubert Lamy tasting (Utregs Wijnhuis, Utrecht, NL): Richer in style than Les Frionnes 2015, clearly from a warmer vineyard, delicately honeyed, beautifully developed, hint of brioche, showing well, floral, hint of butter, classical profile, rounded but crisp, very good length. Complete but not as precise as the 2016.

Hubert Lamy tasting (Utregs Wijnhuis, Utrecht, NL): Medium+ intensity on the nose with lemon, white blossom, citronella, jasmin, light caramel, hint of oak, candy. Medium+ acidity, medium+ finish. 91-92
Riper and more accessible at the moment than the 2016

Lovely showing. A pretty classic Chateniere. Not the ripeness of many 15s, with a pleasing white fruit note and a wave of acidity on the finish. With 30-40 min of air this shows completely. Now over next 5 years would be my window

This drank well with roasted vegetable cheese gratin. The wine seemed a bit richer than one expects from this site, but that was probably the vintage speaking. If it was awkward earlier, as some critical reviews suggest, there’s now been enough evolution to yield a delicious, balanced, and somewhat nuanced wine. The nose was fragrant, the mid-palate was just full enough, and the finish was appropriately long. Not profound, just good.

Pale yellow. A reluctant and fresh nose of white almonds and flowers scents. There are delicious flavors of citrus and almond milk wrapped in a velvety and textural feel, with a refreshing and mildly mineral finish. In this terroir not considered the best in St Aubin, Lamy managed to achieve in a hot year a good balance with density and lightness. This is very good and enjoyable now.

A slight struck match reductive note on the nose alongside some stone fruit, apples and pears. Slight creaminess on the palate with medium acid, but overall a rather thin and lacking. Not a bad wine, but a very middle of the road Chardonnay without much distinction. Not something I'd look to age long term. Drink now-2026
Magnificent, really gobsmacking. So vibrant, so full of joy. Tense and sweet simultaneously, this remains my favorite 2015 white Burgundy - a vintage I largely skipped for whites, evidently in error. The aromatics are like all the flowers of spring in a glass, mesmerizing.

Complete and very satisfying. Juicy and sweet on the attack; lithe, tense, and mineral finish. This is a first class St Aubin, and among the very best 2015 white Burgs I have tasted.

Blind tasting. Brief note. Lemony in all its forms showing zest, juice, and bitter pith, very well integrated oak, little to no malo, iodine, and clay and limestone. Searing acid gives this laser focus and drive. This kept gaining weight over 6 hours and evolving nicely. Good upside here. Lovely wine with good typicity.

Poured into a beaker and let sit for probably 1+ hrs chilled. Nose was much more expressive than the '14 I had a few months ago, guessing this one is still mostly open. Floral and citrus notes on the nose - on the palate robust acidity balanced with a decent amount of minerality, some citrus fruit showing through as well but it's all about acidity/minerality here.

light straw color. Nose stony, light reduction. Palate lightly waxy, rich texture/full bodied, lemony, strong minerality. More open than the 2014, very nice. 92 pts

Some Wine Tasted at the Acker La Paulée Auction (Maybourne Hotel - Beverly Hills CA): Tasted at auction. Rich lemon and lemon curd that brings lots of energy to a clearly ripe wine. Very good length and balance. From 3L.

Somewhat clenched on the palate - maybe it will ease up a little with some food. Light-bodied with good acidity.

Sharp and focused. A slightly softer feel in the palate, but still super precise.
Citrus fruit on the nose.

WOW this is like Spring in a glass. Flowers, a field of flowers. Palate is soft and giving, also well balanced with tasty mineral.
I now deeply regret buying only one bottle. This is wonderful, elegant wine. Bravo
