Granny Smith apples, coarse salt, citrus across the spectrum. I came to WS for the Pinots. I’ve stayed because of this wine. Love it vintage after vintage.

Lime, orange, lemon — noticeable in that order — salty minerals, chamomile. I’m of the opinion that it ought to be drunk pretty soon. Drinking very well at the moment, but there is a gentleness that suggests it could be flagging ever so slightly. Maybe it isn’t, but it’s not likely to get better moving forward either. I feel confident that I won’t regret drinking what I still have in the next few months.

You noticed immediately smells of honey, clover and slight grapefruit with a dash of nutmeg. The straw color and light/medium body make for a silky texture with a medium finish. Flavors of honey and lime with a slight pear mixed in make for a nice wine with seasoned Asian or Indian foods. We paired this with stir fry. Drinking nice now, but easily can push 2 to 3 more years.

Shared the bottle with friends at a new restaurant - the wine did not fail to impress - but the restaurant did.
