THAT Super Village (Yan): I have often found the Meursault Desiree lieu-ditx to require a bit more time than the straight up village. Tonight this was quite representative of the vintage but not quite the lafon style, did it perhaps require more time?
Bouquet showed ripe yellow fruit, lemon cream and nashi pears. Palate was surprisingly lean - lemon rind, grapefruits and almonds. While it got a bit layered towards the end of the night, I definitely enjoyed it a lot more as compared to the start of the night.

Fruit-driven but it's really tightened up from its early ripeness and I am surprised how well this has come together. Good.

Served blind. Bright acidity pointing to 2015 very Meursault, but would never guess Lafon. It is leaner style, really vibrant richness. 92
