Deep garnet color. Aromas of dark cherry, black licorice, barnyard and leather. Pallet features black cherry/raspberry, baking spices and salty beef jerky. Big, bold and plush. Decent balance. Tannins have rounded nicely. Respectable.

Opened in 2021. Viscous, strong leather, weak nectarine & plum. Very Dry, medium body, very strong frontal and side mouth grip, high acidity. Leathery and acidic finish. Probably could have aged longer.

Deep garnet and orange bricking in the glass, with a generous nose of orange oil and rose petals. Palette of black cherry and licorice that's lean, lively, and youthful. Abundant acidity and big, mouth-drying tannins that bloom into a long, dry finish. A bottle sacrificed to curiosity a decade too soon, this is an outstanding traditional La Morra Barolo, enjoyable now with several hours of air, but much-deserving of a hold.

Red cherries, a bit tart, some leathery notes, a bit primary, but fresh and lively. Good for the price.
