What a loyal servant this wine has been. Every bottle has been delicious. Easier and more earthy than other German trocken rieslings we mess around with (especially Falkenstein). These last few bottles were an excellent complement to fried chicken.

This is in about the same spot. Still mineral but much quieter than the Falkenstein wines that are also house staples. Gentler with an almost creamed stone quality, you know creamed corn, but with chalky rocks. I need to work my way higher up the line here.

Aromas of barely ripe nectarine/peach, lime, wet stone, herbs/grass, on the ascetic side but nonetheless attractive. Similar flavors, almost completely dry, with good doses of citrusy acidity and stony minerality. A touch of spritz, which works well. Tasty, refreshing, with plenty of typicity, and a good value.

Perfect to drink now, very lively crisp acid, violet, lemon, petrol and some lavender.
