This is balancing on a perfect plateau now. Deep straw color nearing the gold tone of an old wine. Expressive nose of peach, yellow apples, citrus, a hint of grape, and a backbone of slate and petroleum. Complex. Full bodied attack, filling the moth with an oily feel up front. Then the acidity kicks in on the mid palate, making the full fruit seem almost not present. On the aftertaste the extremely fine acidity balances perfectly with the fruity tones of peach, yellow apples, citrus. The finish is fresh as mountain river in Norway, but also full of fruity and mineral tones. The aftertaste is extremely long and fresh, with a fascinating salty touch at the end. Perfect to drink now, but will keep for who knows how long?
Bürklin-Wolf Tasting with Nicola Libelli (Freiheit Vinothek, Ulm, Germany): Glass: Zalto Burgundy Tasted blind. Clear, medium color. Lively nose, a bit sweet/sour. On the palate not as convincing as my last bottle. Nervous, a bit unbalanced, sweet fruit, very mineral, beautiful energy, spicy, a bit Marzipan. Needs time to blend in. 90+

Quite shy - taken in a closed phase. Nose quite exsotic, mainly papaya and passionfruit and some citrus. Quite yellow. Changed after some minuttes to be more concentrated and longer. Missing some complexity, but balance is good, so taken to early I exspect.

Really good riesling. Yellow peach, citrus, mineral note, good acidity. Reach, oily and fresh at the same time. Very enjoyable!

Tasted blind. Beautiful smoky nose. On the palate very mineral, dense, acidity is still a bit sweet/sour, very young, needs tome and air. Great potential. Long finish. 92+
