Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • This is an interesting wine. It's deep golden yellow in colour with some salmon / copper hue. The nose is hugely intensive, broad and ripe. It's youthful with glycerine and vanilla notes. On the palate it's rich with average acidity. High in viscosity and a slight oily feel to it, but not in a bad sense. Lots of ripe fruit but I can't really put my finger on just what fruit there is - there's so much going on here. Aftertaste is average in length and leaves a rich, viscous feel to the mouth. Big and beautiful. And they say the 2010's are even better with higher acidity...can't wait to get my hands on some.
