Stewed fruit driven. Plum, sour cherry, rhubarb. Very low tannin. flabby across the palate.

Great balance of fruit, backbone, and acidity here. Perfect with tomato-based sauces and enjoyable as a "cocktail" wine.

Sour cherry, grape skin, chopped dried herbs. Light, fresh, lively acidity, sour red fruit with some herbal notes.
Indigena World Tour Day 1: Monferrato (Il Buco Alimentari & Vineria, NYC): Sweet chocolate nose. Lots of chocolate and appealing sour cherry fruit. Jeff says no new oak used here. Hard to believe given all the chocolate and vanilla. Anyway, quite tasty.
Big barbera: loads of cherry and bright red berries up front. A lashing of oak. 15% ABV. Big wine, needs food to go with it.
