A fresh lemon and lime juice core is flanked by cardamom and pulverized granite notes that add interest to the medium and agreeable delivery of flavor. Beautifully weighted and succulently round mid-palate, showing typical characteristics of both Mikulski and Meursault. A gratifying finish that stays in the middle lane and carries its tension in more of a gentle housing than an overly zippy demeanor.
Very similar to the 2015 Poruzots, if but a little more even-keeled. The Poruzots is a bit richer and fuller-bodied, as well as a tick or two elevated in intensity.
Drink this tasty Gouttes d’Or now and over the coming 5-7 years. 94 points.

5 Great Burgundys at Michelin * restaurant (Riquevihr Alsace): Tasted 3 white Meursaults against each other. The winner was Coche Dury Meursault 2015 with 95 points - better aromas but not quite as good flavours as no 2 Lafon Meursault 2012 with 94 points. Mikulski Goutte D'Or 2015 had too much not integrated acidity. A little austere and I miss a little butter, minerality and a touch of oak - not my style and not the usual style from Meursault.
