Notes of peaches, citrus peel, guava and slate. The palate was bright, crisp and dry with juicy orchard fruit, wet stones, crushed almonds with a slightly tart finish, mid palate feels a little less focus than what I would have liked.

This Orvieto has great, full mouth feel and rich with flavors of melon, lemon, and white grape. Refreshing and dry as the label states but the forward fruit makes it seem less dry. Paired well with a variety of foods and consumed over several days.

In 2017 I suggested to drink this young, but I must say that this has developed remarkably well. I like the weight of ripe fruit, the yeasty complexity and richness from the bâtonnage, the subtle touch of honey, and the balancing, energetic freshness and the bitters on the finish. In short, it has acquired a seriousness and stature which I had not anticipated. Nice surprise!

A blend of 50% Procanico and 30% Grechetto, to which 20% Verdello, Drupeggio and Malvasia have been added, fermented in stainless steel at 20ºC, 13% ABV. Soft but fresh, cool and mineral but with lovely fruit of ripe pear, hints of herbs and hazelnut, elegant weight, light flavours, attractive bitters on the finish, good length. Lovely wine, true to type. Drink young.
