Starting to turn, little bit if that funky forest floor / damp cardboard aspect to it but for the most part it's drinkable. Drink them if you have them

Having enjoyed this over a few days, I can report that it has held up well, and is currently drinking nicely. Somewhat heavy handed on the oak, but with silky and very well integrated tannins, it has dark cherry and a touch of red berry flavors that round it out. Medium long finish.

Has aged really well. Nothing huge on the back of the throat but nice up front and mid-palate. Leathery with some berry fruit and a decent if not somewhat heavy oak. For the price point, this has aged wonderfully. If it weren't for the fact that this was "hiding" in my cellar, I would have never let this wine age this much, but I am actually glad that I missed it and find it very enjoyable. Better than some other aged California Cabs I have had recently, both ones I have reviewed and others that I forgot to.

This wine was great out of the bottle with a litttle warming. It had a nice raspberry and cherry nose, raspberry, leather, vanilla back notes, moderate, well-integrated tannins and raspberry and acidity in the finish to make it linger. I am betting that this wine could be found on restaurant wine lists at a really good price because of its reasonable initial cost and low profile. Worth investigating more recent vintages.
