Dark brown–red in color, definitely aged as it's not brilliant nor clear. Aroma is nice and solid, right up there with any Sequoia Grove Rutherford Reserve, but like the color, it's ages. This is really nice, soft on the fruit and like the color and aroma, this is definitely aged. Tannins are soft, balance is ok. Overall, this seems mild with a medium finish. This was a quick pop n pour... rest is decanting.

Pretty serious cab - forest floor, earthy, has that Rutherfird dustiness. In some ways not unlike Bordeaux . I really like the style of wines from this producer - they are serious, intellectual and there is plenty of finesse. Lovely stuff.

A little spice and vanilla on the palate accompanied with a beautiful nose. Outstanding wine.
