Very disappointing showing. The last bottle was magnificent, but this tasted like it was about 5 years past its prime. Autumn leaves on the palate with fully integrated tannins, drinkable, but clearly on life support.

Old school Cabernet with red fruits, subtle green notes and tannins that are still a bit prickly. Balanced, nuanced, and a joy to drink. Should make it to age 30, but probably best not to push it further.

bought this on a whim for $45, it was actually pretty nice, real funk on the nose and palate for about 30 mins, then more secondary -- hay, smoke, cedar -- flavors on the palate… in decanter and an hour plus later the fruit had emerged red to mid range generally and it was quite nice for an old cheaper cali cab… Joe took the last third home for Annie and he said it collapsed later in the night… interesting experiment but i'll stick to Phelps, Ridge, Dunn, Heitz et al in the future

Great mature Napa Cab. Slight brick color with mature aromas. Delicious on the palate with sweet fruit. Very elegant with great length. And only 12.5% alc.! Drank very well with short ribs and root vegetables in an apple cider broth. Was worth the wait.

1991 California Cabernets, Part 5 (Tom's House, Palo Alto): Candied nose, powdered sugar, hint funky; palate structured, good balance and remaining fruit. Nice. My #3, group's #6.
